Contributors are able to write their own commentary pieces and/or participate in debates on our blog A Matter of Opinion. Contrary to the Staff Writer position, Contributors are not required to attend weekly meetings or produce a pre-set amount of content.

Deputy Editor 

Deputy Editors process each one of the article submissions that the Agora accepts. In addition, Deputy Editors are required to attend weekly meetings and process a pre-set amount of content, typically one article per month.

The Office Manager is responsible for maintaining the organization's supplies and ensuring that events and operations are supported materially.

Associate Director of Information Technology

The Associate Director of Information Technology is responsible for maintaining the organization's digital infrastructure and ensuring that events and operations are supported technologically. This can include but is not limited to: overseeing the website, developing new digital products, and securing the online workspace.

Associate Director of Multimedia Production

The Associate Director of Multimedia Production is responsible for producing the organization's photographic and graphical assets and ensuring that events, publications, digital enterprises, and operations are supported graphically. This can include but is not limited to: photography, graphical design and library management.

The Associate Director of Operations is responsible for managing the organization's logistics and ensuring that events, publications, digital enterprises, and operations are supported operationally. This can include but is not limited to: event management, transportation and logistics, shipping and handling, and printing.

The Associate Director of Finance is responsible for managing the organization's finances and ensuring that events, publications, digital enterprises, and operations are supported financially. This can include but is not limited to: budgeting, accounting, and financial organization.

Spokesperson

The Spokesperson is responsible for managing the organization's public relations enterprise and ensuring that events, publications, digital enterprises, and operations are supported through communication. This can include but is not limited to: press releases, and communicating with the AU community.

The Event Manager is responsible for producing and managing the organization's events and ensuring that events are conducted in a seamless and productive manner. This can include but is not limited to: AV support, showrunning, and technological integration.

The Social Media Manager is responsible for producing and managing the organization's social media postings and accounts, respectively. They ensure that social media strategy is executed in a seamless and communicative manner. This can include but is not limited to: post porting,  account management, and perceptive public relations campaigns.

The Associate Director of Public Relations is responsible for overseeing the organization's public relations efforts and ensuring that events, publications, digital enterprises, and operations are supported through PR. This can include but is not limited to: managing public relations, managing social media accounts, and managing community perception strategy.

Legal Advisor

The Legal Advisor is responsible for counseling the organization on matters such as shield laws, copyright laws, and independence of organization. They additionally ensure that events, publications, digital enterprises, and operations are supported through legal advice. In no way is the Legal Advisor to be considered to have either power of attorney nor be legally employed as an attorney for the American Agora and occupies a purely voluntary, non-compensatory position at all times. Washington College of Law students of all years encouraged to apply.
